Government should make transparent policy about Corona : Rahul Gandhi

Mr. Rahul Gandhi, former President of Indian National Congress and Member of Parliament from Wayanad (Kerala) addressing to journalists said that the Central Government should lift the present lockdown for starting the economic activities in the country with transparent policy on it. In fact it was very necessary that a transparent policy about lockdown should had been made by the Central Government in which all details about imposement of lockdown should be clarified. As no one knows about the actual picture of fighting with Corona by the government. It is a ridiculous matter that an order of improvement of lockdown was released instructing the peoples of India to close down their economic activities and remain inside their homes till the expiry date of lockdown. Now all people of India have been facing third phase of lockdown but the Central Government seems unable to control Corona epidemic in the country because update about Corona epidemic in the country suggest that it has been spreading very speedly as today the positive cases of Covid-19 have reached to 85,940 cases and total number of death from Corona reaches to 2252. Thus our earlier estimate about the casualty of Corona proves wrong in the very beginning when Corona epidemic knocked our doors. At that time our government was unconcerned about the danger of Corona. This is clear from these fact that at that time Modi government was busy in pulling out of Congress government in Madhya Pradesh made by Kamalnath and stalling there BJP government. Besides preparation for a grand reception for American President Donald Trump was being made by Modi government at that time. It is the reason that no step was taken to control the spread of Corona in the beginning. It will be not irrelevant here to quote the statement of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who had attracted the attention of Central Government towards the first Corona case in the country in the month of February 12. At that time Corona had calls havoc in China where thousands and thousands of people fell fray of Corona. Modi government woke up about the danger of Corona epidemic in the last week of March when Corona took over country in its clutchfully. Till that time 9 peoples have died of Corona and 468 people found Corona positive. After woking up of danger of Corona Modi government took decision of imposing of lockdown in the country hurriedly without considering the result. When lockdown was imposed, then a number of problems came up in which difficulties of migrant labourers began come into light. After passing of 52 days of lockdown difficulties of migrant labourers still continued. The difficulties being faced by the migrant labourers are non availability of food, shelters and unavailability of transport for going to their hometowns. Lacs of migrant labourers facing the same situation in all over the country while the Central Government and State Government has been claiming of providing them food, shelters and financial help but there was half truth in their claim because in a number of places in all over country migrant labourers came out on streets and demanded to be sent them to their hometowns. This situation is result of half preparedness of the government for tackling the problems created after the imposement of lockdown. How to fight the danger of Corona, it was not well considered by the Central Government? It found that lockdown was imposed in the countries where Corona has claimed thousands of lives. Thus Central Government also decided to go on this way for fighting with Corona and imposed lockdown in all over the country. Those TV channels which have been licking the boots of Modi government, praise the step of imposement of lockdown by the government and present the image of Modi as a saviour of the world from Corona epidemic. Now Corona has been spreading very speedly in our country and at present more than eighty thousand people have become Corona patient in our country and this trend is continued. It has been being estimated that till the end of July, the number of patients of Corona epidemic will reach to near about 1.5 lacs. Instead of it those channel to have adopted the policy of sycophancy of Modi government are still praising the step of imposement of lockdown. It is a matter of strange that these channels are calling these steps of the government as world model which is being praised by UNO. In fact these channels are very narrow minded because of their policy of sycophancy of the government, so they are unable to see actual model for fighting with Corona epidemic in the world. In South Korea only 11037 people were reported Corona positive patients while dead toll from Corona which 262 only. In the same way Taiwan is the best model for the world for fighting with Corona epidemic where Corona epidemic could not make way for inflicting its virus in the society as here 440 Corona positive cases were reported and 7 people are reported died of Corona. Now the sycophance channels of Modi should itself decide which country of the world is the actual model for fighting with Corona epidemic.

The truth is that our method of fighting with Corona epidemic is not being praised by any country of the world because we did not present any praiseworthy method for fighting with Corona epidemic. The third phase of lockdown in our country is going to end on May 17 and it will be extended furthur in which much more relaxation will be given for bringing derailed economy of the country back on track. Meanwhile Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an economic package of rupees 20 lac crore with the aim of making India self-reliance. He has explained the way how to India make self-reliance. It is a good thing and all of us must endeavour for bringing this dream of Prime Minister bring into reality. It is said that those government schemes implemented earlier has been also included in the economic package of rupees 20 lac crore for presenting this package as a very big package. It should be also remember here that the economic package announced by the PM Narendra Modi is not quite new for our countrymen because such types of economic package have been earlier announced by many Corona affected countries of the world for help of their citizens in real sense not for histrionism. It is also fact that there is no place for benefiting of near about 8 crore migrant labourers working in different parts of the country and these are now seem travelling on foot to reach there hometowns.

Here we should remember the statement made by Rahul Gandhi before a few weeks ago in which he had demanded transparent policy about lockdown and bringing the derailed economy of the country back on track. It seems that Modi government took notice about the concerned of Rahul Gandhi regarding stalled economy and need of transparent policy for lockdown. The fourth phase of lockdown will start from May 18 for which government has decided to give more relaxation in the rules of lockdown. All these steps are going to be taken keeping in mind for restarting of normal life of the people of India considering it that Corona epidemic will exist and we cannot stop all our activities under the fear of Corona indefinitely. However the fight against Corona will be continue.
