After resignation of Rahul Gandhi from the Presidentship of Indian National Congress, the Congress party was death like position. The Gandhi family loyalist want that Rahul Gandhi must withdraw his resignation and lead the party again. As they consider that without the Gandhi family no one can lead the party. For selecting a new president for the party Congress Working Committee (CWC) had been holding this meeting today. But it did not succeed in its session till the 1:30 pm. The next session of CWC will start at 8:00 pm. Will the party able to select its new president in the second session? All loyalist of Gandhi family still want the return of Rahul Gandhi as a party leader but Rahul Gandhi has himself said that he will not accept the leadership of the party. In this situation the CWC has no option but to select a new president for the party. It is very difficult for the CWC to select a new president.
