Now the talk of Women Empowerment is very common. Government of India also has made laws for empowering women resulting in situation of women has been changed positively and a lot of women are now seen progressing in many fields. Empowering behalf population of the country has not been stopped yet, but it is going on and new laws are being enacted continuosly.
On Tuesday, September 24, Rashriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief has also advocated the empowerment of women in a function held in New Delhi. Addressing RSS top leaders he said that enlightment of males is necessary for empowerment of women. This statement of RSS chief is understood important as RSS is commonly known Anti-Women. But now it has been cleared that RSS is not Anti-Women, but its thinking is progressive. Infact this statement of Mohan Bhagwat is praiseworthy. As we know, women of our country have been enjoying powers equal to men for a long time. As of now, the all steps taken by Central government in connection of empowerment of women are incomplete. It will be completed when 33 percent seats of Parliament and state legislatures could have not been reserved for women. Though all major Political Parties are ready to agree in principle on this issue, but they do not suppose able on this issue in the Parliament as a result this bill is yet to be passed from the Parliament. If Mohan Bhagwat thinks it truly that empowerment of women is necessary, he can play an important role for this cause. The Modi government works under RSS pressure, it is an open secret. Now the Modi government enjoys more than third majority in the Lok Sabha and has good majority in Rajya Sabha too, it can get passed this bill from the both houses of Parliament as it has get passed successfully the Triple Talaq Bill, while many opposition parties were against it. Mohan Bhagwat should pressurize the Modi government for getting the bill relating to give women 33 percent reservation in Parliament, if he really wants it. It should be remembered that Mohan Bhagwat and his whole clan aggresively advocated the issue of Triple Talaq and pressurize the Modi government for getting the tradition of Triple Talaq in their eyes was an act of suppression, so they were opposing the tradition of Triple Talaq. It is a matter of regret that the government could not get 33 percent reservation bill for women in Parliament while it is right time to get it passed. Mohan Bhagwat Ji should take interest in this matter in the same way as you have taken interest in getting band the Triple Talaq tradition.
